Terms of Service
Last updated: 2 September 2026
These terms govern your use of stunnedtranslation.com and any service you order through it, provided by Stunned Translation, Carrer A, 17, 25721 Riu de Cerdanya, Lleida, Spain (support@stunnedtranslation.com).
The services
We provide translation, localization, transcreation, interpreting and proofreading services as described on our Services pages, priced per word, per page, or per hour as stated on each service and on our Pricing page. Prices shown are ex-IVA; 21% Spanish IVA is added and shown before you pay.
Placing an order
You place an order by adding a service to your cart with your chosen options and completing checkout, or by submitting a fully-specified request through the instant price. An order is confirmed once we acknowledge it by reply.
How your order reaches us
This site does not run its own order-processing server. When you complete checkout, your order is prepared as a structured, itemised message and opened as an email in your own email application, addressed to support@stunnedtranslation.com. Your order is not received by us until you send that email — the order-confirmation page states this plainly, and offers you the full details to copy, download or print, plus our direct email and phone number, so nothing depends on a single button working as expected.
Our commitments
For every order, we commit to: the turnaround you selected at the tier you paid for; free correction of any error on our part within 14 days of delivery; confidentiality, including a signed NDA on request before we open your file; handling your data in line with the GDPR and our Privacy Policy; and showing IVA before you pay, with no hidden fees added afterward.
Certified & sworn translation
Where you order a certified or sworn translation, it is produced and stamped by the translator responsible for the work, with a signed statement of accuracy, matched page for page to your original. We arrange certification accepted by Spanish authorities. We do not and cannot guarantee that a specific receiving authority will accept any document — that decision rests with them — but we produce every certified translation to the standard they expect.
Turnaround
Standard turnaround is 3–5 business days. Priority (48 hours) and Express (24 hours) are available at the surcharges shown on each service page and on our Pricing page. Turnaround begins once we confirm your order and receive any document we need from you.
Payment
At present, checkout uses a demonstration payment panel, clearly marked as such: no card data is transmitted, stored, or retained by us or by this site. This will be updated when a live payment processor is connected.
Cancellation, right of withdrawal, and refunds
See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for the full terms, including the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal and the express waiver you confirm at checkout for made-to-order services that begin immediately at your request.
Revisions
We correct any error on our part within 14 days of delivery at no charge. A revision that goes beyond correcting our error — a change of substance, a change of mind, or a request for a different style — may be quoted as new work.
Confidentiality
We do not share your documents beyond the translator or interpreter working on your order and, where necessary, a reviewer. A non-disclosure agreement is available on request, signed before we open your file.
Interpreting bookings
An interpreting booking is confirmed once we acknowledge the date, format, language pair and rate in writing. Cancellations and rescheduling are handled under the same terms as our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Liability
We are liable for the accurate translation of the document or content you provide, to the standard described in these terms. We are not liable for a receiving authority's decision to accept or reject a document, for delays caused by postal or courier providers once a package has left our hands, or for errors in a source document you supplied to us.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute not resolved directly will be submitted to the courts of Lleida, Spain, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rules that apply in your place of residence. Consumers in the EU may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as our services change. The date at the top shows the last revision.
